GCSE Results 2026
Blundell’s is delighted to celebrate a record-breaking set of GCSE results, with this year’s pupils achieving the highest proportion of grades at 9–7 and the highest number of pupils achieving an average grade of 8 or above in the school’s history.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 11 pupils, who have achieved the highest proportion of grades at 9–7 and the highest number of pupils achieving an average grade of 8 or above in Blundell’s history.
- 58% of all grades were 9–7
- 38% of all grades were 9 or 8
- 22 pupils achieved an average grade of 8 or above
These results reflect the hard work, determination, and resilience of our pupils, as well as the commitment of their teachers, tutors, and pastoral teams. For a school with a broad intake and a diverse range of pupils, we are particularly proud of the progress and individual achievements represented in this year’s results.
GCSE results are an important milestone, but they are also the beginning of the next stage of a pupil’s journey. We look forward to welcoming our pupils into the Sixth Form and seeing them continue to develop their academic interests, pursue new opportunities and build on the achievements they have made at Blundell’s.
