Blundell’s School Food Box Delivery Service

You may already be aware that the School have initiated a Food Box delivery service, enabling the local community to receive food safely. You do not have to necessarily be in the 'vulnerable' category as they have enough supplies to help others within the community should the need be identified.

Please see this PDF with all the information you need for now and in the future. In a nutshell, if you would like to book boxes, please go ahead by visiting www.trybooking.com, click 'Buy Tickets'; search 'Food Boxes'. Bookings for this week and in the future can be done here.

Halberton Court Farm Food Box Delivery Service

Halberton Court Farm Shop are offering a delivery service to villages within the surrounding area. We do not believe there is an on-line list of items available, but know from experience they sell fresh bread, vegetables, meat, cakes, groceries, wine, cheese etc. You simply phone or email with your order, giving several days' notice, they then collate the items and call you back for payment, with delivery arranged after this. Please find their contact details below.

Here is the experience of their service as viewed by one of our members:

"Congratulations to Janet and Tony Stevens (M. 1977 - 81) of the Halberton Court Farm Shop, Halberton Tiverton for their exceptional initiative in starting a Vegetable and Grocery Box Scheme delivering to homes in the Halberton and surrounding area during the Emergency. This took place from day one of the shut down and it has been a real-life saver to older people confined to their homes. The Staff and helpers at the Farm Shop have worked so hard for us all and couldn't be more pleasant, friendly and efficient when they are dealing with the public. They deserve a huge thank you from us all."
