TOEFL Exams Test of English as a Foreign Language

This exam is used by the majority of US colleges as an entrance requirement for international students. It measures academic ability in reading, writing and vocabulary. It is also used by some educational institutions in other English speaking countries.

In addition, some US scholarship agencies depend on the TOEFL to determine the English proficiency of candidates, and some international businesses require employees to take the TOEFL to demonstrate their knowledge of English.

In the EAL department there is a qualified teacher available with specialised material to prepare students thoroughly for every aspect of this exam. Blundell’s students usually find the level of the exam challenging but manageable and, with support and additional lessons, pupils are expected to achieve high marks.

The enrolment process is simple and the exams take place in London.
