TOEFL Exams Test of English as a Foreign Language
This exam is used by the majority of US colleges as an entrance requirement for international students. It measures academic ability in reading, writing and vocabulary. It is also used by some educational institutions in other English speaking countries.
In addition, some US scholarship
agencies depend on the TOEFL to determine the English proficiency of candidates,
and some international businesses require employees to take the TOEFL
to demonstrate their knowledge of English.
