Adventure & Leadership Programme
The senior school ‘adventure and leadership programme’ comprises of weekend trips or overnight camps throughout the year designed to broaden horizons and to provide unique experiences for the pupils and above all to be fun.
Sometimes the trips are a very relaxing day out such as fishing, or surfing. But on other occasions overnight camps on remote beaches, riversides, woodlands or on Dartmoor National Park are organised where the emphasis is on camp-craft, bushcraft, survival, initiative and team work. These events provide excellent opportunities to meet new friends from other boarding houses, to learn new skills and build self confidence, and above all, to instil a sense of adventure and appreciation for the great outdoors.
