The U13's squad, Captained by Toby Pilkington, had another excellent tournament at Port Regis. They started slowly but defeated Port Regis, Clifton College Prep and King Edward's Bath to top their pool. In the quarters they easily outpointed Warminster 29-0 and then, as the weather deteriorated, they showd their strength and determination in beating Moulsford 32-14. This set up a great final against those old rivals Millfield Prep. In an exciting game, despite the sleet and rain, both sides tried to play good sevens and the result could have gone either way right to the end. Blundell's scored first through Jack Webber but at the final whistle Millfield ran out the winners 10-5.

The U13 squad also enjoyed a strong tournament at Clayesmore when reaching the finals. They went through as runners-up in their pool, which contained Chaffyn Grove, Ballard Prep and King's Hall. In the Semi-finals they played very well and defeated Colston's 36-7 which set up a rematch with against their 20-22 conquerors from the pool, King's Hall. It was an excellent final but the boys spurned several golden opportunities to score and then had to give way to a good King's Hall side, going down by 12-24. It was a very close game and rivalries will no doubt be resumed in the Spring Term.
