U18 Squad
Captain of Girls Hockey: Lucy Simon NC/TH
The U18 Squad have retained both their Outdoor and Indoor Devon titles already this season and they now progress to the West of England Finals on Sunday 30th Nov' (Outdoor) at Clifton and on Sunday 7th Dec' (Indoor) at Cheltenham Ladies College.
The U16 Squad successfully defended their Devon Indoor title at Exeter University against Exeter School, Bideford, Sidmouth and Maynards.
The U15 Squad qualified comfortably for the Devon Indoor Finals, beating Sidmouth, Ottery St Mary and Colyton Grammar on the way. The team are well captained by Hannah Bazley with Tory Pouncey being in dominant form and Tilly Knowles making several important saves in goal. The others to play are Maddy Raynor, Lucy Witcombe, Emily Joll and Grace Gabbitass. They have now gone on to become the Devon Indoor Champions, beating Colyton 3-1, Bideford 5-1 and Stoodley Knowle 3-2.
The U14 Squad are Devon Champions overcoming Stoodley Knowle 4-0, Edghill 3-0, Colyton 1-0 and drawing with Ivybridge 1-1. In an all-round team effort Captain Jo Mardell was particularly impressive, scoring 5 goals and she was ably supported by Grace Gabbitass with 2 and Becky Blackmore and Bobby Frankpitt with 1 apiece.
The U13 Squad made an impressive debut in their first real tournament finishing as Runners-up to Maynards. They won all seven pool games without conceding a goal and then overcame St Peter's on flicks. Rosie Le Page made several crucial saves and Grace Gabbitass scored the winning penalty. In the final the game was goalless but Maynards sneaked a goal in extra time to win. Captain Bess Menheneott played well throughout, as did Katie Wiseman and Grace Gabbitass was top scorer with 8 goals. The rest of the squad were Ellie Breitmeyer, Tiffany Cutler, Lily Swan, Lizzie Wessely, Abbie Blackmore and Natalie Waddington.
The U13 Squad from SH have now qualified for the Devon Indoor Skills Finals by winning their area pool. Bess Menheneott, Alice Shepherd, Ellie Breitmeyer, Emmy Birchmore, Katie Wiseman and Louise Youngman all played. They have since finished a creditable 3rd in the finals won by Stoodley Knowle.

Congratulations to Lucy Simon, Amanda Norman, Emma Harris and Issy Davies who have all been awarded their Full Colours. Lucy has also made it through to a final England Trial.
