Athletics
2002
In a year when the weather was about as unhelpful to the fine tuning of athletic performance, the Blundell's Athletic Cadre still managed to produce some top flight results. The most notable achievement was that of Sam Westlake OH, who was the Devon, S. West and National U20 Shot Putting Champion (he was also 2nd in the National Discus). Sam went on to represent Great Britain and Ireland Track and Field Team. His achievements were further acknowledged with the award of his Full School Colours and he was also chosen to carry the Jubilee Baton in this area.
