Monitor resolution

The Blundell's website is best viewed on monitors capable of displaying resolutions of 1280x1024 or higher, although it does cater for 1024x768.

Web browsers

In addition, the site will appear at its best when viewed with a modern, up-to-date web browser such as: -

• Mozilla Firefox
• Opera
• Google Chrome
• Apple Safari

The links above will take you to the download locations for those web browsers. The Blundell's IT department prefers Mozilla Firefox.

Users of Internet Explorer 6

Please note that Microsoft released Internet Explorer (IE) 6 with Windows XP in 2001. Many websites will no longer be displayed properly through it, as the Internet has matured a great deal since then. In addition to many others, Microsoft itself has begun a campaign to convince web users to upgrade. If you are using IE6, we strongly advise you to upgrade for reasons of system security as well as website compatibility.

If you are using Windows 2000 or earlier, you do not have the option to upgrade IE beyond version 6.
If you are using Windows XP, you do not have the option to upgrade IE beyond version 8.
In these cases, we advise you to download and install one of the third-party browsers listed above. Firefox in particular is an excellent web browser, and has grown in popularity considerably over the last few years.
