WWIThe syllabus begins with a detailed study of the peace treaties following World War One, followed by an examination of the collapse of world peace by 1939. VietnamThereafter, pupils focus on Weimar and Nazi Germany (1918-1945), followed by a study of the American policy of containment during the Cold War, focusing on three flashpoints: the Korean War, the Cuban Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War.
