Drama Dept. Staff

Fiona BaddeleyFiona Baddeley, Head of Department
Having completed degrees in English and History of Art, and having taught in a range of institutions from the Tate Gallery to the Open University, Fiona decided to turn a hobby acting and directing into a career teaching Drama. 'Blundell's offers excellent facilities and pupils who are a joy to teach.'

Heather CordenHeather Corden
Having had a long-term interest in stage and costume, Heather was asked to help costume plays and musicals at St Aubyn's (now Blundell's Prep) and Blundell's for many years. She was then approached to teach Costume Design at GCSE for one exam group in January 2000, and her work and commitments here have expanded ever since.

Claire FordhamClaire Fordham
Claire joins the department with a first class degree in Drama from Exeter University. She hopes to bring her energetic and enthusiastic teaching style into the department and is looking forward to working with the staff and pupils here at Blundell's. Outside of Drama Claire is a very keen and active sports woman. If she is missing from the Drama department she may well be found on the side of a netball court or galloping off in the distance across the beautiful areas surrounding Blundell's and Tiverton.

Ann ReedAnn Reed
After a three-year Stage and Teaching course at Rose Bruford College, Ann chose teaching Speech and Drama as her career, working mainly in schools in both the private and maintained sectors. She paused briefly while she had young children, but completed an Open University degree 'to keep her hand in' educationally! Five years ago the offer of the LAMDA Speech and Drama work at Blundell's was too good an opportunity to turn down, and she grasped it with enthusiasm. She 'thoroughly enjoys working in this splendid school'.

Tammy WinsleyTammy Winsley
Tammy has been teaching speech and drama for 5 years and joins Blundell's to teach Performance and Communication exams to years 7, 8 and 9. She is a holder of a BA Hons in Modern languages from Exeter University. A holder of gold medal LAMDA qualifications, Tammy Winsley has many years experience in public speaking, story-telling, presenting, directing and face-to-face communication.

Roger WinwoodRoger Winwood, Theatre Technician
Roger has worked in Technical Theatre for many years, most recently with Stage Electrics in Exeter. The opportunity to share his knowledge with others at Blundell's arose, and he jumped at the opportunity.
