Drama Speech & Drama

DramaMany Blundells’ students take LAMDA Speech and Drama lessons. The aim of these lessons is to explore language and performance, develop self-confidence and to teach the power of the spoken word, both our own and that of authors, poets and playwrights. The range of work in Speech and Drama is very comprehensive. As well as the study of voice production, it encompasses acting, mime, improvisation, public speaking, reading for performance and verse speaking.

We have a 100% pass rate in all our London Academy of Music & Dramatic Art examinations and the vast majority of our students achieve Distictions or Merits. LAMDA is recognised as an awarding body by the Qualifications & Credit Framework (QCF) and the higher grades are included in the UCAS tariff and add valuable points.
