OB Applications
Welcome to the Blundell's online system for OB applicants.
- The aim of the system is to streamline the application process, whether for UCAS or other options, for all students who have left Blundell’s School
- Your initial enquiry will be sent to Miss Sue Norman, Head of Careers Education and Guidance, for processing
Instructions & Guidance
Blundell's School is happy to support any post-A Level application for University or GAP year programmes/employment but to enable us to manage this efficiently the following guidelines apply: -
- The initial enquiry must be made through this online 'OB applications' system
- Please provide full information in the OB Applicant Details form
- On submission of the above details applicants will be contacted by Miss Sue Norman
- Applicants must adhere to the dates and deadlines given (see table, below)
- Any applications or demands outside of these deadlines will incur a significant administration charge

| July 2011 | OB application system opens |
| 1st September 2011 | UCAS application system opens |
| 1st October 2011 | Deadline for OB early applicants to submit UCAS form to Blundell’s (Oxford, Cambridge, Medicine, Veterinary Medicine/Science and Dentistry) |
| 15th October 2011 | Deadline for receipt at UCAS of all early deadline applicants |
| 1st November 2011 | Deadline for all other OB applicants to submit UCAS form to Blundell’s |
| 15th January 2012 | Deadline for receipt at UCAS of all applications, including the reference, for all courses except those with a 15 October deadline and art and design courses with a 24 March deadline |
| 24th January 2012 | Deadline for receipt at UCAS of all applications, including the reference, for all art and design courses except those with a 15 January deadline |
| 30th June 2012 | Applications received by UCAS after this date are entered in Clearing |
